art @ ketnet king size

Last sunday, the guest at King size was Adriaan Van den Hoof.
He was the presentor of a program called 'Mijn kunst is top!'. (which ended second for the emmy kids awards last week)

So the theme of the day was: art.

For the breakfast I took 4 bowler hats, filled them with popcorn and putted an apple on it (refering to Magritte)
Also I made some Campbell's tomato soup cups to drink out, and I made an m&m painting from a Keith Haring art piece.

I haven't got a lot of pictures of this episode, except for the candypainting of Keith Haring I made.

Valentine @ Ketnet

Last saturday the ketnet Kingsize theme was... Valentine

I transformed the studio in a lovely place!
It was more difficult than I thought.
The studio is bigger than it looks, so you need a lot of stuff to let you feel the valentine atmosphere.

They also wanted a real valentine breakfast and so the got it.

tzedaaa!
Pictures of the studio and the breakfast!

They wanted some big hexagons to play a big game in the studio.

The also wanted to make the ten commandments to surf safely on the internet.

Silke the property-master / setdresser for ketnet! Jiehaaaa!

I'm currently working for the Flemish television 'VRT', more specific the youth channel 'Ketnet'.
Every saturday and sunday morning there is this program called 'Ketnet King Size'.

I take care of the props that are needed, make the 'breakfast' for the kids,...
And if the 'ketnet wrap' needs some extra props I'm helping them too.

really...

THE COOLEST JOB EVER!
I know it's a temporary job, 'cause I'm replacing someone, but I hope I'll find more things like this.
'cause I really like it!!

Down below I'll show you some pics of the breakfast last weekend and the links to the final results on television.

Fish makes you fart!

Forgot to tell you this:

Together with Marijke Visterin, we assisted a group of kids (between7 and 9 years old) with making their own movie.
And this is the result!

little wordplay...

I'm sick of it - I animate

Walkcycles are 'prut' !

Sneak preview of my graduation movie. Especially for YOU!

For my graduationproject I made lots of experimental stuff.
To make it all become one, I decided to make an animated poem.
I decided that the end of may.
The poem takes almost trhee minutes to be told, so there are also three minutes to be animated...
I'm halfway already and hope to be ready with the animation at the end of july, so I can finish all my experimental stuff decently as well.

Here you have a little exctract of my movie.
Somebody told those people to breathe in and never breathe out.
And so they did...
